Religious Scams
Do you have a loved one that has been victimized into a religious scam or has been guilted into giving money to someone who says he is God’s prophet? I’m sad to say that I’ve seen many people, especially the elderly fall victim to such scams. Whether it was a TV evangelist or a crazy screaming false prophet, I’m sure it got under your skin that they got money out of your loved one.
I met one of these false prophets in Tyler, TX. His name is Richard W. Hayes. Richard W. Hayes claims he is a prophet of God and that God relays information to him about people in the audience. He yells into his microphone and puts his hands on peoples foreheads. He claims that he preforms miracles when people start shaking. At the end of the service, Richard W. Hayes guilts people into paying him money. He claims that God will pay your bill and reward you when you “have faith”. By having faith he means giving him your money. Richard W. Hayes is a liar and a thief that preys on the elderly and he must be stopped. Richard W. Hayes has tricked many elderly people over TV, the radio, and at tent revivals into giving him their money. Don’t let Richard W. Hayes or any other religious scammers take money away from your loved ones.

wow, those are some strong words about prophet Richard Hayes. The prophet had a tent revival in Tyler Texas on highway 69, which i attended for about a month. I missed about 3 days of the duration of the tent. I was also helping to take the tent down, and washed it before putting it into a boxtruck which was owned by the prophet.
However, i was not associated with brother Hayes ministry. Prior to the revival, i had never heard of the prophet. Now, to make such comments about a brother in Christ, you would have to have seen things that i did not see. If we will be judged by every word we speak, then we must be careful what we say about others. Prophet Hayes definetely has a gift from the Lord. What i saw was a compassionate brother, who presented the gospel clearly, pulling lost souls out of the pit of hell and introducing them to a loving Savior. A collection plate was passed around, and no one forced you to give. ( to cover the light bill, saleries, rent on property for tent, radio time etc. ) and faith pledges were offered. EVERY ONE IN ATTENDENCE HAD A CHOICE NOT TO GIVE AT THE OFFERING, OR NOT TAKE PLEDGE OFFERINGS. No one was forced or placed under compulsion to give. Why can”t people understand that. Well, i am not here defending Prophet Hayes because further all the prophecies he gave me came true. The tent revival was a blessing to me and my family who at the time lived at a run down motel in tyler texas, in fact the same one where Prophet Hayes and Prophet Danny Davis stayed. If the prophet was after your money as some claimed, would”nt he have stayed in an expensive Motel? and drive a luxury car? Folks he drove a 10 year old Ford explorer, and the transmission was bad on the box truck. Well, some things will be straightened out at the Judgment Seat of Christ, and what a surprise it will be on that day. To accuse a brother in Christ of a few dollars and deliberately misleading others into thinking that the prophet”s ministry is based on a lie is no small thing in the sight of the Lord. By the way, i have had no contact with prophet Hayes since the tent revival, so he never told me to write this comment. I am just sick of people who did not sit under the tent making such remarks. I prefeer to use my tongue to bless others. Thanks prophet Hayes, i will continue to support your ministry financially and by prayer.

I attended his service at the dc herritage building in tyler texas. I must say that i was truly blessed. and he prophessied the truth. and I had so much faith and strength during and after the service. I just did not want it to end. and i find myself checking to see if another service is coming soon. close by in tyler it does not matter and as long as GOD make a way i will travel the distance. PRAISE GOD FOR PROPHET HAYES.

I know him as well,i test his prophet ability as well ,he is a Holy Ghost loveing God Prophet . God said test the spirit so i tested brother Hayes . Thank God for him.

I and my family attended Prophet Hayes services in Brooklyn, New York. He is an anointed man of God. He is a true prophet of God. He has a gift from God, and God uses him mightily.

Yes my brother I strongly agree with you…it is full time that folks lay off of God’s anointed men and women of God…God never called us to judge others that is His department and we should be very, yes very careful what we say about God’s people… ..did God not say DO NOT TOUCH MY PROPHETS AND DO MY PEOPLE NO HARM….? THEN WE BETTER HEED THE wORDS OF ALMIGHTY GOD.. Prophet Hayes is a true prophet of God…..

I watch the people as they get a word from the prophet about and their sickness. And when the Lord use,s brother Hayes you can tell they get healed. But that,s the way it always been on God,s people . Their is always going to be someone to say something about God,s people and somebody to run us Prophets down. Frankly i really don,t care about what they say. Preach on brother Hayes and keep healing the sick. Love u in JESUS NAME…..

I strongly agree with the article above.
The so called Prophet keeps on until you give him money. He told a lady that her silver filling turned to gold and the audiance was not even allowed to get close enough to see such a miracle he told her to look in the mirror and come back she did sat in the back I approached her after he left the service and she opened her mouth and the filling was still silver! She told me to keep it quiet but she felt used and ridiculous!
He is known to give out drinks of so called koolaid the last night of the revival. are they laced with some drug? Does the koolaid make you feel so good that you donate even more money? he calls people out in the audiance revealing this or that listening devices filter and are in place
he travels with a female companion who is not even excited or shows one sign of emotion when people are so called healed!I asked her later why dont you show emotion when he told that lady her silver filling was gold, all she said was you believe him? I know him thats that its my job to be his assistant. Ok if you were at tyler when he came you notice he always comes in late every service he has someone else open for him a man who had a surgical shoe on the entire time for a real injury i asked him to pray for that minister that opened with the surgical shoe that God could heal him too and he Refused and told me to Go Sit Down! Hes a fake and only weak minded people will give him Money he prays on the elderly, the working class and the weak minded. He gives you faith to believe so its your own faith if you have a miricle in your life that caused it and not him! ask His assistant if she thinks hes a true prophet and she will say I just work for him I do as he wants me too!

Yes, I too believe that prohet Hayes is a fake.
I was there the last revival in Tyler Texas when I heard a Dixie ask the assistant why she didnt show any emotion when The so called miricle of the silver tooth filing turned Gold and I heard the assistant of the Prophet say” Its my job, I know Him Thats that! I am Prophet Hayes assistant.
So I said to the assistant so you work for him?
she stated “yes, he pays me I do and say what he tells me too”.
He called me out of people and told me I was not talkitive I was Quiet I have never been Quiet I love to talk talk talk I looked at him bewildered like your wrong. He try to say on a mike I had a bladder problem yes I weigh alot a whooping 375 pounds but have never had a bladder problem My aunt sitting next to me said its not true and he tore the mike from her face and walked on as if he did not even hear us. when we started to walk out he called after us You come back here.
He told another person they had high blood pressure and the person said I do? Oh I do? in question. He did see the doctor since than and revealed he has not any high blood pressure. the so called Profit passes the plate many times during the service and when you do not give in the plate he calls you out to tell you Gods going to heal you. People put money into the plate because they feel obligated to him, he convinces some they are healed. Please do not stop taking your meds until you see a doctor! Even if he tells you your healed. On the tiles of the ceiling they are pushed back revealing devices of recording conversations before the service. He always comes in late and leaves early.
He literally puts people on the spot by telling them they have this or that wrong with them throwing a mike in thier face so bewildred they either say I do? in disbelief or Is that Right? He prays on the weak minded and the elderly. The last night he gives out Koolaid which tastes real good and feels like you have had No Pain. So good you feel like donating all that you have to him only the next morning wake up broke with a headach beware maybe when the gentle man above helped the prophet years ago in Tyler with the tent he didnt take notice of all the surroundings look up at the tiles that are moved. watch as he comes in late and especially his assistant that never looks surprised at any miracle . I too. after the prophet left, stood beside Dixie when she asked the african lady to open her mouth and reveal the silver filling that turned to gold and I too heard the lady say I feel so Ridicoulous this really happened Wake Up America.
